26 Los Angeles Times, Op-Ed: Why QAnon’s similarity to other cults makes it a significant national security threat -- "Like the Heaven’s Gate cult, the QAnon community brandishes religious imagery and repurposes theories to fit new truths." -- "... and endure as a potentially deadly menace." w.t.f. What public threat did Heavens Gate pose?
They killed themselves and were not violent. The direct opposite of a public threat.
They didn't even kill themselves in a violent manner, they chose to OD on Phenobarbital, a sedative that knocked them out before killing them.
Unlike the deaths at Jonestown, who choose cyanide, a very painful and terrifying death.
