Try the Quebec curfew on for size. I am aware of no literature that indicates this virus follows werewolf rules, i.e. It's somehow more dangerous at night.
Also, I would have thought having shorter store hours due to the curfew would result in having to pack the same amount of people in to the same sized space, but now over a shorter period of time. In other words, increase crowding. Wouldn't more crowded conditions make it easier for an air-born virus to spread? But then again, why should logic get in the way of authoritarian government policy.
