That's not completely true, the Bible does state that once the Great Tribulation begins that he will stop it before ALL life on Earth perishes.

When Gog of Magog (the organized world leadership) attacks Isreal, the fist will strike.

I’m not saying that the Bible says this. A fact of life is that we die. There will be a great resurrection, but I know no person who did not perish in this world, even Christ Himself died for three days before His resurrection.
