This was actually a huge redpill to normies. Wondering why only 1/3 of the spending is on American people. The rest on organizations and foreign countries
Common core math - as a teacher: I find it helpful that student who move in from other states are around the same amount of learning. I also like that the writes requirements (as seen by parents) cover different areas of learning (tactile, visual, verbal etc...). What I don’t like: how it was implemented, and what can come along with it. Implemented- parents running around calling it a new math because there is no training for it. I also don’t like the political dogs that can come along with it (teaching little Johnnie about ethnic studies in ELA and Math). Good math site for parents
Piggyback - parents who place dice, cards, games, and read to their children simply do not know how much of a positive impact they have. Not only are their children more well adapted, but they are more willing to think for themselves, and question things in learning. For example: I was teaching about the Bill of rights yesterday. A student asked how free speech is performed now (clarified - soap box, YouTube etc). I opened the question up to the class, within 10 minutes they deduced it happens on social media. I asked if they knew if anyone losing their account on Twitter. Several blurted Trump (sad to see Trump haters in Middle School, but they are there). I let the comment hang heavy in the air, and one of the Trump haters said, “Is it safe to take the President’s free speech away?” All of this started from a child who has parents who spend time with them.
Amazing. I see adults claiming that the free speech of Trump and others has not been stifled, because Trump can still see what he wants in the public square without being arrested.
But even a child can see that, in today's culture, being banished from the popular social media platforms is a hindrance to free speech.
It always amazes me how NOT racists, sexist, (insert other negative terms) children / kids are. I acknowledge that we are all born sinful, and that the sins of the father go to the son, but kids are mainly good natured. It takes our media / movies / culture (and poor role models) to teach them to hate.

Was that supposed to make sense? Or was the whole point that it makes no sense at all? I'm confused as hell.
