My youngest son will graduate college this coming spring. He was my late in life baby (I was 40 when I had him). He could have conversations when he was a toddler. His vocabulary was amazing. So, when he was school age, I failed to be involved with his homework, etc. I mean, the kid was taking advanced classes that were a bit beyond me. He never needed anyone to make sure he was doing his homework (I had to keep after my older kids). My point is the school poisoned him - he is a true little socialist. It's difficult trying to discuss politics with him. As intelligent as he is, I am hoping he will wake up soon.
