3 ideas. 1. NO funding from outside the county or even the town or township a person is running in for anything from school board to POTUS. Nation elections can receive and distribute campaign money anywhere but state money stays in the state and so forth. The funding of any candidate must come from an address and resident inside the candidates jurisdiction. 2. Within 24 hours the donor's name and amount given is posted on line and at the local government building wall. 3. A violation of the first is a disqualification and/or fine and of the second is a fine twice the amount of the contribution. These are just ideas to get the ball rolling. I'd like to know if any one has anything else we could gather and populate. Anyone else have any have any good ideas on encouraging public servants to rise up and serve ?
