I went through that temptation. It was ridiculously hard, couldn't talk to anybody on either side about it because one wanted to brainwash me into it and the other side would've ruined me for admitting to the battle.
But Jesus brought me through. I was born a man and I'm still a man. I'm still considered mentally ill, but I think I can give coherent answers.
If I thought I was a woman. (I'm a man). I would act and dress however I wanted. And if that meant I wanted to act and dress like a woman, I think that would be the healthy thing for me to do for my own mental health. Same goes for what gender I preferred as a sexual partner. however, mutilating my organs and/or disabling the sexual functions that were given to me in this life seem akin to "taking a loss" and possibly ending up feeling "sexless". I think it is a BIG mistake and this should not be encouraged by our culture. Of course adults should have free will to do it and pay for it themselves, like anything else (tattoos, etc...), but it should be outlawed for children (under 18's if not older).
just my 2 cents.
If I understand you correctly, good job resisting temptation on the mutilation, but what's the harm in dressing/acting feminine if that's the way you feel?
Look at the fashion of early 80's "hair metal" rockers!
Funny you should mention that! I actually believe that eras fashion was forced onto the culture by the elite. You couldn’t get signed to a major label unless you adopted that style. What happened, though? An organic grassroots masculine metal scene (Thrash Metal) rose up specifically to spite what was going on in the glam scene. By the end of the 80’s Metallica DOMINATED and glam was dying, and I think it’s because people crave realness and didn’t like the phony aspect of hair metal.
