Yeah, plenty of those for cheap already, and they usually suck. My Firestick 4k is the smoothest experience I've ever had. I've owned several different android boxes from multiple price ranges and none can beat the firestick for me.
Really? We have an older fire stick and it is the most terrible, slow, unresponsive TV experience I've ever had. On occasion, the back button doesn't even go to the previous page, instead jumping to see other shoe entirely. I ditched it for a PlayStation 4 and an external HDD of mp4 and mkv files.
I will say that at least the firestick has an accessibility voice to read options. The PS4 may as well, it seems like it randomly gains or loses features depending on the region and update.
Curious as to what the content will be. I just use my forestick and install whatever I want on there.
I would imagine it's just a mass produced Android TV box that they'll preload with some apps.

Oh man I own like 4 firesticks and they're all smooth as butter.
Ps4 is great as well but you have to download things to that HDD whereas I stream with a VPN a plethora of movies and shows.
But if it works for you then that's what matters!
