It’s been explained numerous times on this site already that new Presidents don’t give a SOTU address their first year. They may give a different address and call it something else. They aren’t mandated on a certain schedule by the Constitution either. Also they typically used to be given in writing.
Then why would the news agencies setup to stream it?
I do realize that even President Trump didn't give a SOTU address his first year but the media web sites setup to stream it this year seem odd.
