Spain said a while back it wouldn't be mandatory but you'd be put on a list. Currently 'living' in Spain.

The article states this is proposed in Galicia province which at 2.8M is reasonably small compared to say Andalusia. The sheep here are desperate 'to be saved'. Let them go, we tried to warn them.
