What I’m implying is that if he resigns, wouldn’t that also mean those indictments that we keep watching rise are about to be unsealed?

He did not resign as special counsel so your question is moot.

He's resigning because Biden told him to, just like he told many other US attorneys. He'll likely finish out his special counsel duties. I do think it's odd that it coincides with Trump's speech though. Also, I would have thought Trump would speak on Saturday, not Sunday. During weekend conferences, the headliners typically speak Saturday since many people are heading back home on Sunday. Looking forward to it regardless.
