I work for an ISP that has this occur every year in the spring and fall. Basically the sun is aligned with the dishes and the EM waves interfere with the antennas. The sun outages usually only last maybe a few minutes at most.
Same. It's a normal thing and they can predict it down to the exact minutes channels will go down.
