Not exactly free from consequences... Just playing devils advocate even though I do not trust Cruz in the slightest (parents were both CIA in the MK Ultra years...) But if he wanted to be there to participate and speak, he had to play by the tyrannical rule of mask wearing or get kicked out. We can get idealistic all day and say that he and others should have taken them off in protest / not worn them in defiance, but I know what matters and makes a difference is not wearing one in our communities and that is what I will continue to do and encourage EVERYONE to do the same
