this one didn't "jump" from animal to human. it was created. the specific mutations not only wouldn't occur in a million years, they could not happen at all.
Right, those structural features of the virus were patented by a US corporation to help them study viruses, which then sold it's intellectual property to a Chinese company.

I understand that, but that was the narrative they were going with with covid-19 and prior viruses.
I’m not trying to make any arguments about where covid came from, I’m just saying it wasn’t uncommon for them to make comments/statements like the one posted above.
