Technically, he doesn't even need to run for Congress to become Speaker.
I know Bannon pushes the impeach Biden route but I don't really see what that would gain Trump? It would just be painted as revenge and he would be made to look bad by the media in the process.
I think him getting named speaker would be great and it would give him considerable control over the party plus the legislative agenda. That part I agree with.
