Organized crime has a moral code to abide by or they could get whacked. They also face the risk of being held responsible for the crimes they commit. I bet you'd find more patriotic people in organized crime even though they're involved in illegal behavior. They want the country to flourish because it's better for them and those around them. Pols, people in the alphabet agencies and bureaucrats are more dangerous to the safety of the republic than organized crimes members.
