True freedom only comes from Jesus. So I personally know the only true freedom there is.... but I do understand what you're saying and where you're coming from. It is crazy to think about how long these evil people have been in control behind the scenes. How they have subtly changed our culture and society to be the way THEY wanted it to be.
But to be honest, I feel like I the culture I see on TV is completely foreign to my actual life. I go to church, read my Bible, spend time with my husband and my family. I snuggle my pets and pretty much do whatever I want. Up until the COVID crap, I never really felt like I was being controlled or my freedoms were being hurt. You know I take that back. The amount we pay in taxes pisses me off and is so unconstitutional, so that's the other thing. I am a Texan, so I'm sure living in a red state has helped a lot.
I am curious to see what changes when everything is said and done. I truly wonder if I will notice any day to day changes at all
The last time I remember feeling like America was free in my lifetime was the 70s and early 80s. MSM actually reported the news (for the most part), people were pretty much left alone, schools taught the kids how to think for themselves, rewards were merit based, politics were always on the corrupt side, but politicians were a little better at listening to their constituents. Tv and comedy was very non-pc and actually funny.
Somewhere during that time the far left started infiltrating everything - schools, courts, media, Hollywood and both branches of government. People have been indoctrinated and manipulated at least since the 80s, giving up their freedoms bit by bit without even realizing it.
This plan has been long in the works. What is happening now is the result of the long-game by communists - over 40-50 years, probably longer.
I had someone tell me yesterday if Republicans just work harder at the next election, we could win it back. I am dumbfounded at the amount of naivety- we will not be able to undo decades of infiltration and power grabs with a few more poll workers!
"True freedom" is one of the many casualties of the industrial revolution. Over the last 250 years society has become more and more interconnected, and people have collectively traded many freedoms for conveniences and the illusion of safety.
I'm 60. I remember well the late 60's, the 70's and beyond. What you bring up has been on my mind in a huge ways for the last several months, even a couple years. Things were so much different 40 years ago, but even with that, I have to wonder, have I really ever truly known freedom? I grew up in the country, it was quiet out there. A group of us got together and played baseball every summer day we could. The sky was blue, it was safe, there was no drama, it was a different world. BUT, even then, where were we? JFK murdered by the DS, America's "first" moon landing(?), Vietnam, Agent Orange, etc. Then I went onto college, got a job, paid taxes, secured my 2.5 kids, a dog and minivan....just like the social engineering program told me. We've never been free.

In the early 70s, I had a paper-route, and got paid in cash. No SSN withholding.
Most kids had temp jobs for spending money.
Aside from taxes....
