Weekly Discussion Thread - March 1st - 8th
?️ DISCUSSION ?
There's a lot to talk about this week, so let's get to it.
Who owns slickdeals?
There are various users trying to create paranoia over covid and if anyone tries to counter them their posts get removed
Any conservative view or dissenting view gets immediately deleted.
In 2014, the leading economic mind from Barack Obama’s administration left office to become president and partner of the private equity firm Warburg Pincus
Warburg Pincus owns Slickdeals. And then Goldman Sachs further invested in Slickdeals which moved equity from Goldman to Pincus
And we all know what's up with Goldman Sachs.
So even a website about coupons and getting some clearance deals isn't safe...the arm of the left is in everything and it needs to change now.
A lot of small inconsequential things are owned/partly owned or have taken money from a large equity firm. Those firms are all owned by a handful of people.
A "thing" or "service" comes out and people get addicted to it for its convienence or usefullness but they don't do any research about it. Often times these things are literaly funding murder, terrorism and even going directly to the coffers of foreign nations.
You’re telling me! I still remember when LifeHacker got bought and went from posting actual useful tips and tricks to being another echo chamber of the left
