I want to get more involved in Arizona politically

I see some of this place turning the wrong direction and want to be active in the community. Just don't know where or how to start. Any suggestions?

(I know ill probably get told wrong place for post) but I cant stand to see people be persecuted, mistreated, because of their beliefs this is supposed to be America.

I don't have any advice (as I'm from France) but way to go! We should all be doing this!
