Well as for me, I’m not fully convinced there is a plan because I don’t see how it fits in the Bible. Jesus is our savior, and the Bible says things will continually get worse until His return.

So why would things get better by this large overcoming of evil right now?

Also the Bible says to respect governments authority (except on issues that are in direct contrast with Gods word)

Bible also says to aspire to live a quiet life and mind your own business.

So more than a good American, I’m trying to be a good Christian, I have a heavenly citizenship over an earthly one. And even if I live the rest of my life under a totalitarian regime, Jesus is my hope, and I have an eternal home to look forward to
