Went into my bank sans mask and after 5 steps was asked by teller if I had a mask. I answered “no”. She politely handed me a box with cheap little masks in it. I said “Thank you”, took a mask and as I was pulling my wallet out of my purse shoved the mask in my jacket pocket. I asked her to help me withdraw from my savings account, she did so while carrying on a pleasant conversation, gave me my money, said “Have a nice day “ and I told her the same. I think some of the people working just do what they are told and don’t really care what other people are doing . They just go along behind their masks, gloves, wiping everything down with disinfectant and cleaning all the pens, counters and plastic barriers to keep their job. My daughter quit her job 2 weeks ago when her Manager said “you don’t look well. Maybe you should get a COVID test.” She didn’t as she has lupus, autoimmune disorder and sometimes just feels and looks rundown. She went back to work 2 days later and was asked if she got her test results. She said she didn’t take the test, she has taken Hydrocychloroquine daily for the last 10 yrs for her RA so very remote chance she would have COVID. She was told not to return to work until she was tested. She refused and said she was “politely resigning “. Since then she has made 2x the money from doing “door dash” & “Uber eats” deliveries. We are not sheep!
