Yep got one on a phone that hasn't been activated yet but is charged?? it says, tornado warning until 10:15 am for your area, that was 10:05 and not one cloud in the sky, not one, says to take shelter. Ok really strange. There was one on tv a little later but it specifically said this is a test.
I’m recovering from a surgery in MA. I saw the EAS pop up around 10am and nearly had a freedom boner. I go in for work during the weekdays and I’m never at home during that hour, so I really don’t know how common it is for these alerts in MA
I've not had TV service (antenna or otherwise) since 2003-ish. We do have a little weather radio, though. THAT at least said it was a test. The phone alert didn't mention "test" at all.
I live in MO and we usually get our monthly test the first Wednesday of the month (tomorrow).
I found it odd they chose to do this particular test right before a monthly one.
My spouse got the alert on their phone and not 2 minutes later we heard the sirens outside.
I lawled at your post title.
Too late heart attack the got my hopes up

We were all ready to hit the road here then we saw the sunny clear blue skies and no alerts for our area on weather.gov.
What can we say.. we got the itch!

EBSs occur all the time even before Q. Why would people freak out? Kinda silly.
