The same people who want draconian gun laws want lax voter ID requirements. Which is more dangerous? If I want to purchase a gun, I need to have a background check to make sure I'm a citizen, not a criminal, not wanted for a felony, etc. Yet, those that want this and push for even more stringent gun laws don't want people to show a valid ID to vote, don't want to check if they are a felon, a U.S. citizen, are of sound mind, are old enough. Interesting, isn't it? I maintain that this administration that came into power through a stolen election because of no voter ID laws is far more dangerous to the citizens of the U.S. and the world, than 300 million guns in the hands of law abiding people.

The reason is illegal votes are much more dangerous to the country than 300 million guns. But I'm OK with showing my drivers license to buy a gun or cast a vote. Seems very reasonable to me. Only citizens should be able to do both in this country.
I think we should use their no id thing against the left, as a weapon in itself... When they talk about ID being racist, agree with them, and say its racist to demand and ID for someone buying a gun. Say that you support mail-in-gun purchases..
Makes sense to me. In fact let's do away with Federal firearms registration all together. Free commerce to buy and sell arms and ammo.

I have a house in AL. The first thing the neighbor did when I met him was show me his carry permit and his gun. I felt completely safe knowing he has that going on.
I have inherited all my firearms, never bought a single one. A small arsenal. I was in the Navy, so small arms are kind of a downgrade to Trident C-4's and Mk-48's but you take what you can get and we were trained on small arms to defend those.
I REALLY wish military training was compulsory for the youth of today so they can appreciate what the 2nd amendment really means.
I have absolutely no problem with Americans owning firearms. I do have a problem with criminals owning firearms and am appreciative of the 2nd amendment so I don't have to worry about them. The neighbors help too.
I have no idea why this bothers people so much. Growing up, everyone had a shotgun and 30-06 for hunting, and a handgun for home protection. They used to have gun racks in the back of their pickups! Remember those? I have a sister that lives in Alaska and has to carry a gun in her back yard for bear and moose and whatever carnivorous thing jumps out of the woods (honey badger?). I would EXPECT that to be the case.
I suppose the minute blue portion of America now gets to dictate what the norm is because of, you know, the thing... election fraud.
