Mitt is on the Senate Foreign Relations committee and the Private Equity firm he founded back in 1984 handles lots of defense industry clients. This is probably why he got back into the game in recent years. Most people retire from politics after losing a Presidential election unless they are staying in it for the $$$. Think Romney and Kerry.
