As the news of the overstated positive tests, the recovery rate, the 'disappearance' of the flu in the same period, the individuals coming out claiming outright false diagnoses of covid, etc., Governors and the like might want to start getting ahead of the backlash coming from unnecessarily shutting down entire sectors of the economy.
