My husband got a really fantastic job in southern FL. I'm so happy for him and our family! I'm sad to be so far from our families who are both here in the north, but we had to get out. Our town is about to defund our very much needed police (carjackings and hit and runs all the time in my neighborhood) and our village council is going to be 100% progressives after this April. Everyone here wears masks everywhere, even outdoors and in their cars by themselves, it's maddening how stupid people are. Can you believe they even tax you 8% to leave??? So glad we are getting the corporate relo benefits!!!

I say hang onto to your winter clothing. I spent a month down in Miami Jan. 2003. For about a week, the temps dropped into the 50's. Being from the North it didn't bother me but people were freaked out. Buildings weren't built to handle the "cold." You really could feel the difference because everything was outdoor oriented.
Also, your blood will thin out and after a year, even 50's and 60's will feel chilly during the winter time.
Thanks. I’ve been trying to get a straight answer. And this sounds right.
You're welcome. Better to be safe than sorry.
