There are people who think if they dont participate on Twitter they are giving up on the left, or "not reaching the whole audience" or some crap logic like that.

Crap logic is right. I have friends who won't leave FB because they can't keep in touch with family. I ask them how they kept in touch before FB and if keeping in touch was worth what they've done to society (i.e., teaching us to lose our freedoms a little at a time). Those who are still there are clueless, and I had promotions, etc., on FB and Twitter.

In all honesty, you can't make a difference on those platforms. Everyone has his or her mind made up. I haven't missed either. I can still get on Twitter to see tweets, etc., via link, so who needs an account?
