Just a thought that came to mind...what if the Trump hotel had sky high rates on the 3rd & 4th to discourage Patriots from being in DC?

It’s set by some low level front desk manager making 24/hr.

Realistically not even that. It's set by some algorhytm based on occoupancy rate, expected demand etc.
