You should check out Sevierville. It’s the area surrounding Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge. If someone was looking for a view, clean air, and somewhat quiet, it’s an ideal spot. I’m not sure about the schools, though
Just got back from there last weekend. Sorry but idl how locals cam stand it. Its nothing but a main strip or tourist shir holes that havent changed aince i was a kid 20 aomething years ago. Literally every building, business, main attraction atill the same and looking so dater, with the exception of a few new things. Unless your going to stay in a secluded cabin like my wofe and I did, its not worth it. Even to get to your cabin your passing dilapidated, run down, homes that make you wonder what kind of life the locals have to be kn such shacks. Sorry if i offended any locals
I live in Sevier County. Close to Knoxville, close to Maryville and close to the mountains, but horrendous traffic. I moved to the area in 2005 and we had a downtime right after New Year's until around Memorial Day. Now there isn't really any downtime.
Franklin too expensive. Focus on East to Northeast of Davidson County. Wilson Co. has low property tax and I do believe they are still giving out "rural" loans for this area. Mt. Juliet property values are increasing by an average of 6% annually for last 15+ years. Number one school district (public) as well for Wilson Co. Not saying I live there, just what a friend told me. Specifically for u/Magistra, Donelson Christian Academy (DCA) is close and VERY convenient for residents of Mt. Juliet.
Somewhere Not too Close, but Not too far from Nashville so far. Going to take another week off and Really take a deep dive. We were there for a week and did ALL the touristy things. The first time. Just a really beautiful state! How about you?
We are looking into moving to Tennessee...THEY are Sweetening the Pot!!
You’re more than welcome, Frens.
East Tennessee is best. Knoxville is iffy though
Honeymooned in Nashville and surrounding areas. Loved it!
