I don't want this to be taken as low effort because there have been so many BOOMs in the past few months that I think it's worth a thought.

It would, of course. But it so happens that people say Boom! to announce something big. Also happens that he’s called Wood. But maybe, I’m starting to understand what OP was getting at.
