I agree. Can I go with April 1st? April Fool’s Day? New month, new beginning, Juan O’Savin mentioned it (I think), and uh, just that I adore The Confidence Man by Melville, which takes place on the 1st of April, and which portrays a conman changing appearances and playing different characters throughout the book. Also includes reflections on God. Seems quite appropriate.
