Be Silent Be Still Be silent, be still and listen for his voice He speaks in many ways When we’re not making noise Perhaps through a dream Or a gesture or letter from a friend Maybe in our circumstance But we just can’t pretend Not to hear, listen dear You might feel it in a tug That pulls upon your heart In the dead of night When you’re alone in the dark When sleep won’t come And your mind won’t stop When he draws you to his word At the most random time When you feel like you’ve been given The biggest task on the block Or you might receive a warning Of a place you shouldn’t go Or something not to do He’s there in the still and quiet When you’re not making noise Will you sit still and listen Because you have the choice Are you wholly in his word Spending time upon your knees Cause that’s when you’ll realize That he’s in the in between He has a higher calling And he calls upon his own When things aren’t making sense And you’re on the longest trek He’s got the road mapped out And the way planned ahead So be silent and be still And listen for his voice jWinters

Ask the Lord for wisdom, understanding, discernment, clarity of vision and empathy for others in All things, then you will
