All I ever get told is the "cocky theory" which sounds absolutely ridiculous to me. There are other things that don't make sense. Why didn't they retire RBG? She was on the brink of death and they just let her stay a judge.

My understanding is she was going to step down after Hillary won, so Hillary could nominate a new judge to replace her.
