simple answer is to be a prepoer and make sure that if needed you can largely survive on your own (on property well, back up generators with fuel source, wood for heat, water, food, garden, etc and then with excess own tangible things of value...gold, silver, fire arms, trucks, tractors, toilet paper (i half joke). don't think in terms of being rich, just in terms of being able to sustain a decent existence for you and your family
not sure what currency will be. may be multiple forms of currency being accepted. currency if made of paper or something without intrinsic value would presumably be backed by gold and/or silver to give it value.
and yes, you can never go wrong with owning good highland. don't buy a swamp unless you are planning to open a gator farm/ park !
great argument. it's tangible, useful and limited in supply therefore it's valuable
you're either a shill or misinformed.
do you expect that the value of an ounce of gold or silver will be worth less (at least by any significant %) within a year or 20 ? reasonable answer, no
do you think a dollar will be worth less in a year or 20? reasonable answer, yes and it could become nearly worthless
