Now in order to read it I has to sign up for his free newsletter ..... but you can do that, read the article, and then when you get the email to confirm you are signing up just say you made a mistake and op out. I know that is all a small pain but this article is VERY WORTH IT!! I also just discovered that if you click outside the 'Join the Newsletter' thingy it simply goes away and you can read the article!

Heh - yep, cooked the same from the 50's forward! Only time she got into food-related strife was the year she tried to serve lasanga on Thanksgiving "to be different" and caused a family revolt XD
Lots of Jello at ours XD It's a "salad"
Aww, poor ma! XD
I actually love jello so I never object, but one family member brought a new girlfriend to one of these dinners. And sitting right in front of the jello "salad" my aunt had prepared, this girl went on a big rant about how tacky it was to serve jello. We never saw her again. I don't know if my cousin broke up with her or my aunt killed her and buried her in the back yard. :-P
