The vaccine is still experimental according to the FDA. They released it on an EUA (Emergency Use Authorization). Anyone that tells you different is a liar or a sheeple that won't do their own research.
Vaccines that receive EUA are considered experimental until the FDA formally approves it. It is possible that a rare side effect will be found after mass vaccination allows a longer term of observation on a larger number of people, but most side effects are picked up in the first several months after vaccination.
Just to add - the three vaccines being used in the EU (Pfizer, Moderna & AZ) don’t have full licenses either. They are “Conditional Marketing Authorisation” only - the EU equivalent of the US EUA.
