And to think my grandfather had to leave his parents who were by WW2 in their mid 60's to tend to the farm by themselves. My grandfather was a change of life baby his mom had him when she was 52. It got to point my grandfather dropped out if school in 3rd grade to help his father work on the farm because age was catching up to him. While my grandfather was hopping island to island in the pacific fighting the japanese his father was losing the farm, couldn't raise crops anymore, so my grandfather sent every cent he made to his parents to keep the farm. It was till he got back that he learned it was gone.
