It just seems so... complicated. So the theory would be, some foreigners got in touch with an insider (or vice versa) who was willing to sell off content, so that the foreigners could start a fake news org (going all the way to actively publish articles and stream content from other orgs) in the hopes of convincing a relatively small group of people to donate/buy merch. Not saying it isn't possible, at all. In fact, from what this post says, it seems very possible.
But it's a lot of effort to tap into a small market.
If their goal is money, they could spend their time scamming old people and probably get 20x richer in half the time. So the motive is more about, what, deception? Idk, it's just weird any way you slice it.
To add to that some of there messages on the live chat feed aren’t how first language English people speak. Making $1000 every live chat would be an absolute killing in Asia. A life of luxury for a small group of people.
