Like you, I fell asleep listening to Part 2 last night, but I was lucid for all of part 1. I must say I found it interesting, but its kind of like reading a newspaper article; you see someone else's perspective, maybe say, "interdasting", and then move along. It all helps build up a knowledge base. But for me, two points: 1. I don't need to re-read the same newspaper article over and over again, I got the point the first time. Unless there is some new perspective, I don't need to hear the same thing over and over again. and, 2., I found the historical perspective on the Washington monument to be interesting, but when he veered off into reptilian people, descendants of the wrong branch of the biblical family tree yada yada, he lost me as an audience as I think that LARPs people out of having to be personally responsible for their decisions based on their free will. I do, however, enjoy listening to Bards of War.
Appreciate your thoughts on this. I'll def be listening to remainder of Part 1 and then Part 2. Agree with your point that you don't need to re-read the same newspaper article. I've always enjoyed listening to Bards of War and appreciate that he (to my knowledge) never throws a hail mary or adds fluff in his podcasts. I find him genuine with seemingly credible sources. I had a 'What the Hell?' moment when I saw he did an interview with Juan O'Savin. Still not sure what to think.
