My best friend of 30 years that passed away Jan 2020 was an avid collector of guns and had the license for full auto and had some really neat machine guns WW2 and beyond-I remember an M-60, some rare German (probably in the pic^^^) and yes, he would buy belts of bullets at the flea market to test them with. The cost was a bit much for a working stiff like him. He was lucky and sold off everything before he passed.
He loved fatty foods deep fried etc. September of 2019 he was diagnosed with stage 4 liver failure-in the 4 months he had left he profoundly provided for his family and a few friends-I was told by his son that I was his best friend-he was worried that I might not have enough money, so he gifted me lots of sellables and some treasures for my personal vault. The one thing I miss the most was the phone calls nearly every day no matter where I was... I am in a convo vacuum now :'(
75 YO and never had kids or anything "normal" so I really like this place for all the like minded folk here abouts.. It arrived JIT, so my morose days will go away while anticipating the New America to come..
