They have not! Any article about it just emphasizes wild and unrelated “QAnon” theories. Pure deflection. They barely even acknowledge the ankle monitors because they have no explanation.

I proudly am not, um, tracking this story, but the one article I read, like you said, offered no explanation, just attacks.
And so that seems to be the consistent response. When an honest explanation would be so easy.
