You banning GEORGENEWS is a big mistake! You have just broken the number one rule we all unite on!
Fix this before me and many people I know decide to leave, you can’t censor free speech!

Yes, I agree with seeing what happens when comments are back.
But, there still isn't a double standard. GN isn't banning links to an entire website (Al biet part of the dispute is whether they did for new accounts because of possible spam.) I take objection to GA banning any links from GN. Like mentioned before how do you justify banning links to GN but not CNN who outright hates us? If I commented on CNN a link that is critical of them, theyd prolly delete and ban me....or Twitter...they ban us all day everyday.........but links to Twitter aren't banned.
So, no, the double standard is on GA's side.
Further clarity will, of course, be gained after comments return. But regardless even if GN bans individuals....just like GA does....I don't think it is right for GA to ban links from GN fir the reasons given if they don't apply it to other sites that ban individuals' posts.
No, I don't think it is right for GN to ban critical posts (if that is what happened) - I just don't see what that has to do with banning all users of GA from referring to ANY information GN puts out as if it is anymore dangerous than MSM.
I agree but as far as I know ga doesn't ban people who question the validity of a source. It's a valid ongoing concern that SHOULD be addressed and george is banning those who have issue with his posts claiming to be something they're not. Dude is straight up taking videos from someone else and not giving credit where it's due. Doesn't seem like something our President would endorse.
I can't say that salty cracker, for example, sites where he gets his meme vids or video clips. He nor GN claim the clips a self generated.
GA is banning all links from GN. What if GN uses government vids and some of GN produced vids. GA isn't saying they are banning anyvids that aren't GN but are claimed to be. They are saying ANYTHING of GN is banned. Thus includes GN youtube live streams which is just music and images that they put together and stream and patriots can gather and chat - that wouldn't be allowed.
Let's not forget, GN has a press pass hence them being able to live streams the CPAC speech. They have streamed POTUS speeches while he was in office. This means that they have had SS clearance. Not sure why our mods can over rule SS press clearance.
So you could say GN has been approved by the trump administration.
So, while the individual banning IS one issue that should be considered, an all out ban to link to them seem s overly censoring - regardless of what GN does in their telegram chat.
Pretty sure if george news makes an update that adds real credibility the mods would allow it. They haven't though. Everything they've posted could be produced in some way. Showing military bags with stickers. Screens of email that look to be MEDIA credentials of whoever.they claim to GPS in florida and trump tower yet also claim to be overseas away from the deep state. The date is military on computer screen but writes american on notepad. Things just don't add up. Yet. Seeing how Evspra works, I'm pretty sure if something gives credence to george, he'd change the rule. But for now, seeing multiple people banned for asking about validity of sources seems a bit odd and should raise eyebrows.

I just don't see why it matters if GN sources video from other places since they don't claim the vids as their own. That hasn't been a standard for any content generator so far. To me it feels like an emotional decision since that isn't and hasn't been a standard for who we can link to and who we cannot. Nor has the "individuals banned" thing or YT or twitter shouldn't be kinkabke either.
Yes, raised eyebrows for sure. But to me, that doesn't justify us banning them (two wrongs doesn't equal a right) esp if we aren't banning MSM in general.
So, fren, we agree some. We disagree some. Either case we'll see what happens next.
