Enlightenment principles do not equate to “do what thou wilt” or satanic beliefs. The focus is on the RIGHT of the individual, not hedonism that is so often at the expense of others’ rights.
It is true that a number of our Founding Fathers were Freemasons, but they Freemasonry of their time was not what we see it as now.
There is a letter, forgive me for my horrible memory at the moment, from Washington, or maybe Jefferson... I apologize, but the letter details their concern regarding the infiltration of Freemasonry by nefarious forces.
Look it up, if you care to.
Our Founding Fathers were not the Masons you hear about today.
The link you’ve provided is a, while well sourced I its quotes, example of an opinion that I do not subscribe to.
I love history and philosophy and have read plenty. I do not share the conclusions that this author has drawn.
You are missing the key distinction that the basis of our constitution IS on the liberty of the individual, but NOT at the expense of another’s individual liberty.
Satanism would tell me, hey, you think okaydoomer is weak? You like his shoes? Take them.
This is not the constitution. There is a sometimes subtle but MASSIVE difference.
The Constution is a ficticious idea at this point.
Look where all your grandstanding got you...here. To this point. This is what Enlightenment ends up as. You're living it and refusing to acknowledge the cause.
In a perfect world, you're right and NONE OF THIS SHOULD BE HAPPENING.
This is not a perfect world... and that is certainly not caused by the Constitution lol...
I am grandstanding..? I had not realized, I apologize.
I am living my own truth, and that is THE truth. Not to get all holy on you but I am a positive force on everyone and everything that encounters me.
Everyone does not live the same truth I live.
I’m not sure what you were getting at.
It seems you’re saying the devolution of society is caused by the Constitution.
If so, I don’t want to enumerate all the flaws with this argument, such as, you know, the Constitution is the law of the US... not the world... but I will add that the “law” we have today is an absolute perversion of the Constitution. It’s foundation is solid.
Also, the link you’ve provided from “blackwitchcoven” (lol) to dispute my view, and the “quote” you’ve used is COMPLETELY ignoring the other half of that sentence and therefor my entire point.
If I may offer some advice....
You think too emotionally, and not logically enough.
I feel the need to express my disagreement.

The ideology is exactly the same.

It literally only leads to one logical conclusion: the right of the individual to DO WHAT THOU WILT.

Fourth degree of Scottish Rite tells you Qabballah is the foundation of Freemasonry.
There is a reason why it's called the "CABAL".
Benjamin Franklin is the one who said "do what thou wilt".
Nice founding fathers. I guess.
