I’ve never engaged in Facebook , Twitter, Snapchat etc

Back in the late 90s Japan went wild for a phone with a video screen. Everyone had one there, I think it was called Do-co-mo.

I’ve had an iPhone since 2007 and move along the evolution without all the app stuff.

From time to time I’ll hear about a new fad or craze.

What if somewhere along the evolution from Snapchat to Tik-Tok , an app was developed and used exclusively by elite/ Hollywood types.

What if this app could harness your voice and finger recognition and merge them with facial recognition technology and allow you to superimpose yourself anywhere in the world in perfect seamless dimensions to the setting. You could be in Hollywood but post a video of you in Aspen wearing skiwear.As a celeb you may have been using this tech for years.

What if this technology was prohibitively expensive but has been refined over say 20 years?

We could now be in such a deep fake world that US military handlers could be controlling individual celebrity accounts from a ‘ drone control room’. How would we know?
