Just out of curiosity, do you find math to be "humorous"? Your post made me wonder. ;-) ;-)
Somehow I stumbled across this stuff by accident today and have been doing a deep dive into it. I found a lawsuit that was filed in 2019 and amended in 2020 that seemed pretty major, but it activated my spidey senses. The organizations named in the suit do appear to be legit and I actually found the suit listed on legitimate court document sites. However, I don't think anything actually came of it. I found a document from a judge, I think it was, saying that the plaintiffs had done nothing and needed to do something within a 90 day window, or the case would be dismissed. So far, I haven't found anything past that point in time, so I think it was probably dismissed.
I found a lot of spelling errors and such in the lawsuit, which gave it an amateurish air. The main plaintiff has a website, but he's selling books that he wrote, which makes it seem a bit shillish.
On the flip side, though, I checked a couple of companies listed as defendants and they do actually exist and seem to be involved in some really high-tech experimental stuff. A lot of what's in the suit seems a bit fantastical, but not necessarily improbable. Whether we're currently capable of doing these things in the here and now is unknown. There's enough truth embedded in there to make you wonder. I no longer know where to draw the line on all this craziness, due to all of the weird things I've found during my deep diving sessions.
I also found the list of famous people who are supposedly involved in a lot of this. The list is quite extensive. I have yet to delve into it -- don't currently know whether any of it is true or someone just blowing smoke.
A lot of them have to have a script, else they have nothing worth saying. One of the most vacuous stars that I've ever seen on TV is Robert Pattinson. He's a babbling idiot when left to his own devices.
Was on a cruise once where there were some stars from Star Trek and Babylon 5 on board. Discovered then that some stars aren't acting -- they're just playing themselves. Jerry Doyle, who played Garibaldi, was the same person on and off camera. He spent most of the cruise in the casino playing blackjack with $50 chips stacked up in front of him. There's literally no difference between him and the character he played.
I must say, the one thing I'm most looking forward to is seeing the reactions of the normies once they find out what the big stars have been up to all these years. I'd be willing to bet that this will shock people more than all of the Big Tech and political shenanigans combined.
