Is the DS going to attack the national and international internet backbone routing infrastructure to bring the internet down completely in the US? Isn't there enough redundancy in this infrastructure? Based on every transoceanic fiber optic cable route map I've seen, it seems like it would be a major challenge for the DS to successfully take out the internet for the entire continental US. Unless they can take out major routers to bring down the entire internet in the US. I really think major key facilities would all have to be attacked physically or EMPed using speciallized weaponry.
