Homosexuality actually is a choice, by the way. (Former homo here).

I agree. I don't believe there's a gay gene or we would see identical twins who have identical DNA both turn out gay. I think statistics show that less than 6% are both twins gay. I believe there's a spectrum on one end is the super feminine female and other the other end is the alpha male. We all fall somewhere on that spectrum and if you tend to be someone who falls closer to the opposite sex side of the spectrum you start to question why you are different and try to find a place in society. Example I grew up with boys. I had brothers and we played tackle football and smear the queer. I don't enjoy shopping or girl talk. Emotional girls annoy me. I knew I wasn't like other girls and can remember thinking what does that mean that I'm not like other girls am I a lesbian? I think we need to teach kids to accept that they're different and its ok that just makes you who you are. It doesn't have to define you as one thing or the other. My best friend since birth was a boy who fell closer to the feminine side of the spectrum. He liked girls and watched porn with my brother but he preferred to play with me than the boys. Kids at school teased him for his femininity and called him gay. I watched his taste switch from girls to guys. I think he recognized he was different than other boys and found a way to answer the what does that mean question.
That being said, I still love him and his partner and so happy he is happy. I don't think any differently of gay people even though I don't believe you are born with a gay gene. I'm not going to judge how grown adults choose to love and live their life.
