Freemasons don't hide the fact that they are masons btw. Also it takes money to be a mason ....further it takes money to be a mason and no masons would dress or carry themselves like these guys.
How do you know they were a mason?
Also, I doubt, if he actually was a mason, that he got far into it and/or if he did that while it was widely known he was a mason he was prob punished for doing that.
We were in the same fraternity together... he was the President at the time and I was his Vice, so we talked a lot and he often wore his masonic ring and attended masonic meetings... Like you said, they don't really hide the fact that they are masons.
He was actually the founder of our chapter at our university, chosen by the Pi Kappa Phi national charter to start a house at this university... probably because of his masonic ties, we never seemed to understand why they chose him - because he didn't carry himself well behind closed doors.
He wasn't a 33rd degree mason or anything, probably just a peon in their ranks, but a mason nonetheless.... doing naked keg stands at college parties
Well there you go!
Being a street gang member of 'low class' is very different than being a frat bro and doing a naked keg stand. Context matters. In the world of the elite being a frat chapter founder (recruitment) from them at a college large enough to have fraternities... Yep his naked hand stand prob got him a slap on the wrist and then a boys will be boys type thing. I bet hid father is a mason.
Anyway to compare that "indiscretion" with common thuggery as be equivalent uncouth behaviour is a bit to simplistic.
These are gang signs.

In college I saw a free mason do a keg stand in nothing but his underwear... so idk about that claim
