I can't claim to have seen all the apocalyptic shows etc... But I've seen a lot and you're right they put their plans in there for us. It's all part of the witch's rule that they can't be blamed if you consent blah, blah, blah. It's called "predictive programming."
They've done this to just about everything that comes out of Hollyweird, NOT just apocalyptic genre.
Agreed. It's kind of hard to still like movies knowing how Hollyweird is and especially the people behind the movies. BUT I still have a small collection (less than 100) that I will still keep despite all this craziness.
Being awake means knowing how to watch things now.
Bowfinger still makes me crack up every time I watch it.
They do it so that when it finally happens you'll get shouted down with "oh, you watch too many movies!" Weirdly my blue-pill sister was pointing out similarities with "Ready Player One" in that a global pandemic is why everyone is used to staying in their little homes (because they're all poor after a big economic crash) and only interacting via virtual reality, that book was written in around 2011 I think and the movie came out only a few years ago...hmmm.
Aren't there some about meteors that have a different storyline? I saw one that was based on who to select for limited seats on an escape rocket. Also, War of the Worlds has a different plotline. You did say "every one," after all.

I did see that one.
BTW -- Bowfinger is one of my all-time favorite comedies. Classic and very underrated movie.
It's hilarious!
I was randomly thinking about it just the other day -- CHUBBY RAIN! Got you sucka!

Seems they've had a sick apocalypse fantasy for a long time now. A heroic story can be told without world ending scenarios.

Listened to a great BardsFM podcast the other day about this very thing: https://www.bards.fm/e/bardsfm-truth-in-fiction
