The cartoon is about mysterious unknown magic in the town......... Stuff like elves and unicorns.

The main antagonist is a demon from another dimension named bill which is literally the pyramid from the dollar bill.

It's kinda just the genre of the show. The main character of the show is basically a conspiracy theorist who actually sees stuff.
